Hi all, thanks for visiting!
I'm Jananadi, a techie trying to explore another world with art.

I began painting as a hobby in 2020, during the year when many of us turned inward and picked up new crafts. I painted the Summer Surf (on the right) in my tiny room in Seoul, South Korea. It was my first painting and was sold after a week.
What started as experimentation with acrylics has grown into an ongoing practice across traditional and digital mediums.
I try to tell stories through my art, capturing daily moments, travel experiences. As a nomad, some places and people have influenced and shaped my art and style.
As a software engineer, painting is a parallel world, a way to work with color, texture, and composition outside the screen. The two practices inform each other: structure and intuition, logic and gesture.
I work primarily in watercolor, acrylic, and digital illustration. These days I mainly work with watercolor and hardly ever create digital art now. Very much looking forward to painting on canvas again.
Canvas Confetti is my portfolio and studio journal — a space to share finished work, document process, and invite others along the way.
